Trust

How ownership, rights, security and compliance work, the parts your legal and procurement teams will ask about.

Ownership

Who owns what

Every approved photograph is yours permanently. The model stays configured inside the studio, and exclusivity decides whether any other brand can ever use the face you created.

  • The photographs are yours, permanently and without conditions

Every approved photograph is yours forever. No conditions, no usage window, no obligation to credit us. If you stop working with Sartiq tomorrow, every image we ever delivered to you stays yours.

That is the simple half, and it is worth stating plainly because the rest of the market rarely does.

  • The model is part of the studio, not a file you take away

A model stays configured inside our studio, in the same way the lights and the backdrops do. What you buy is the right to use it, not an asset to export.

This is a deliberate design, not a restriction dressed up as one. The identity holds together across seasons because it lives in one place, under one set of rules, with one provenance record behind it. An identity handed over as a file is an identity that drifts the moment it is edited somewhere else, and a provenance chain that ends at the point of export is not a provenance chain.

The same identity across several drops and garment types: one face, one brand, seasons apart
  • Exclusivity decides whether anyone else can use the face you created

Without exclusivity, the model enters the Sartiq catalogue. You continue to use it at no further cost, and so can other brands.

With exclusivity, that model never enters the catalogue and is never used for any other brand. Permanently, including after your contract ends.

The choice is worth making deliberately rather than by default. A face that carries a brand's campaign for three seasons is doing brand work, and brand work that a competitor can commission next season is doing less of it than you think.

  • What happens when you stop

The photographs stay yours, with no change of any kind.

The model remains available for twelve months from the end of the last contract in which it was used. Within that period you can return and pick up where you left off.

If a model was commissioned but never approved, the work is held for twelve months from the date of the request and can be resumed from the point it stopped. After twelve months the work is closed and no model enters your cast.

Model creation is invoiced on request. Everything else, exclusivity, additional rounds and Grooming, is invoiced every thirty days for the operations you have chosen.

What happens if

  • The face works but the body does not.

That is a refinement. Request the change and receive three versions. Any change after that is another round.

  • None of the candidates convince you.

That is an additional exploration round.

  • You change the candidates you selected for the second round.

Free before you request the round. After you have requested it, working around a different selection is an additional exploration round.

  • The brief changes.

The process restarts with a new exploration round. The creation fee already invoiced is not charged again.

  • You want to change a model after approval.

That is a Grooming, not a new model. Five refinement rounds included, covering anything on the model: hair, makeup, beard, nails, glasses, tattoos, scars, piercings, face and body. The new version sits in your cast alongside the original and is not counted as another model in the Location. Once a model has been added to a Location, all of its Groomings can be used in that Location at no extra cost.

  • You change model while productions are running.

Every production requested before your change request is completed with the previous model, through look selection, generation and post production, and is invoiced. The new model applies to productions requested after the change. Redoing an existing production with the new model is a new production, at your contract prices.

  • You approve, and someone else internally objects.

The approval stands. Changing the approved model is a Grooming. Ten new candidates is an exploration round. Choosing one of the other candidates already delivered means creating another model. Approval is nominal, so the record shows who approved and when.

  • You stop before approval.

The creation fee is not refunded. The work is held for twelve months from the date of the request and can be resumed from where it stopped.
